Grape seed tannin with a fraction of high molecular weight tannins
 
Oenological tannins (condensed tannins or proanthocyanidins) extracted from grape seeds have the same structure than wine tannins and play a significant role in wine stabilization.
Several procedures allow to obtain more or less pure commercial preparations with varying polymerization degrees. Oenofrance offers three kinds of grape seed tannins obtained with different well-mastered extraction procedures. In order to ensure constant quality, the tannins are extracted from fresh and rapidly processed white grape pomace.
Oenotannin Initial provides proanthocyanidins that are more polymerized than those of Oenotannin Velvet or Oenotannin Perfect (see overleaf).

Properties :

 
Oenotannin Initial contributes to wine clarification by precipitating instable colloids, including proteins.
It compensates for deficiencies with structure, volume and suppleness
It removes harshness of wine tannins
